A.S.P.I. 2023 MUSIC Award - Active Surveillance Patients International

ASPI (Active Surveillance Patients International) presented MUSIC (Michigan Urological Surgical Improvement Collaborative) with a special award, its first to a group. MUSIC, in which 95 percent of Michigan urologists are involved, showed that it could achieve more than a 90 percent uptake of Active Surveillance in patients with low-risk prostate cancer. An online ceremony was held in which Dr. Kevin Ginsburg, co-director of MUSIC’s prostate program, explained MUSIC’s secret sauce.
