A Nutritional Chef Speaks Up

Chef Ken Dorr shares stories and useful information after witnessing many individuals turning their health around in a natural and accelerated way. How a Plant-based lifestyle shifted and continues to shape his culinary recipes.

“Food preparation has always been a passion of mine. At an early age, I loved to cook and follow my grandmother around the kitchen and garden. Unfortunately, the food we prepared back then was not the healthiest for my heart and overall body. About 16 years ago I went plant-based and felt much better as I lost 65 lbs. 8 years ago my life changed dramatically when I accepted a job at OHI ( The Optimum Health Institute) in San Diego.

I quickly became the Executive Chef and a teacher of food health by using specific whole food ingredients. It is just as important to know what foods to avoid that can cause an imbalance in our body.

I welcome questions and will only answer those that I have experience with and will never give medical advice. Herbs, Wild Foods and targeted fruits and vegetables are my passion for helping others heal from maladies.”
